Last Updated: August 20, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the duty.doctor marketplace platform.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the access or use by you of applications, websites, content, products, and services made available by Healthchip. By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm your agreement to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
To register as a doctor or healthcare provider on the Platform, you must meet and maintain the following criteria:
We reserve the right to verify credentials independently and remove profiles immediately if license details change, expire, or fail validation checks.
The Platform functions as a digital marketplace linking medical professionals with hospitals and clinics. Doctors act as independent contractors and are not employees of duty.doctor or Healthchip.
Roster Commitment: Once you claim and a hospital confirms a shift, you are expected to report on time and perform clinical duties under the supervision of the hospital's department chief. Unexcused absences or cancellations within 24 hours of shift start may result in temporary or permanent platform suspension.
Hospitals post clear rates for clinical shifts. The Platform processes these funds on behalf of the hospital. Payouts are initiated immediately once the clinical head marks the shift as successfully completed. Processing times may vary depending on banking corridors, but are typically settled instantly to your linked bank account.
Neither Healthchip nor duty.doctor provides clinical services. We are not liable for medical outcomes, clinic safety, professional malpractice, or operational conflicts that arise during the shift. Healthcare providers are responsible for maintaining valid professional malpractice insurance.
You can deactivate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or block platform access if you fail to comply with these terms, cancel shifts frequently without warning, or commit professional misconduct during assigned shifts.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
